getting an audio-clip from an Audible file - Ombligo - 01-08-2011

I need a 30-second clip from an Audible audio book file (it's comes under fair use for education, so is legal). Any suggestions of how to get it? Their files are not standard from what I can tell, so dropping it into audacity isn't an option.....

play it through your mac while Wiretap records it.

Newest Quicktime should record it for you-via built in mai and speakers, or for better quality-soundflower sound preference

I wonder if the Applescript "Copy from Start to Stop" would work.
