mothers day gifts - davemchine - 05-09-2006

Mothers day is quickly approaching, too quickly really, and I'm trying to think of a gift the kids could give to dear mother. Children are 1 and 6 so it can be simple. Ideas?

Go to one of those pottery places and make a big platter, vase or serving bowl. Your older one can decorate the piece and you can put both kids' handprints on it.

The best part- daddy has some quality time alone with the kids and mom has time ALONE. Smile

I'm taking my kid to Home Depot to pick up a 6 pack of assorted garden gloves (cloth to leather) in a momma size. Costs $20 and I'd bet your 6 year old would love to put on a pair to work with mom in the garden (if she's the gardening type!).
