For the coffee connoisseurs out there. . .I've never had it myself but some people rave about it. Amazon just added it. . .
This coffee is Fair Trade, Organic and Shade grown. Run by a not-for-profit organization.
Seems to only be available as whole bean, so you will need a grinder.
Fair Trade = Fair value for the product, they purchase from independent farmers.. not huge company.
Organic = goes unsaid.. not TOOOO many pesticides.
Shade Grown = not a deforested area it is grown in, they don't destroy the land just to make money.
On sale @ amazon. . .prices vary depending on the blend. . .in 3 prices $20.46, $23.65 or $25.06 for three-12 ounce bags.
(Kilimangaro and Sumatra was available last night but both are already sold out.)
So the price per bag isn't too bad considering it is Fair Trade and organic. . .depending on which blend you buy, starts @ about $7 per 12 ounce bag. . .

Pura Vida is the motto of Costa Rica. I don't know how this coffee stacks up, but when I was in Costa Rica I was in Coffee heaven. Best stuff I've ever had...

I searched and could not find any in 2 minutes-- so gave up.

Phy, I'd stick to places like Sweetmarias for green beans anyway. Costa Rica Tres Rios is very good too.
