We just received an awesome little Digital camera, only to discover that it's weatherproof as well as functional. My 13 year old son is ecstatic... he was worried about this weekend's Boy Scout campout at Wright Patterson AFB, and using Dad's over-fragile old Kodak digital camera.
He's been madly taking pictures of the dogs and cats in preparation. They may all be temporarily blind from the flash.

Great to hear, as I hate to see anything with life left in it go unused.
I used the thing in the dead of winter, on drizzly days. Never tried it underwater :-)
It fell out of use after I got spoiled by the convenience of BlueTooth uploading from my crappy cell phone camera, so the batteries should have tons of cycles left even though they are two years old.
Hope he likes the lanyard :-)

Edit-- oh yeah-- it does pretty good video for its age with great sound.
The limitation to video length is the size of the card-- you can fit about 43 minutes on that one. A fully charged battery will last at least that 43 minutes.
