The New York Post has setup a new paywall targeting mobile Safari users on Apple's iPad and directing them to download the publication's app through the App Store.

The NYPost website is to oddly written that barely any browser can get through it anyway.

Usually worth the hassle, though.

Murdoch has in effect said, "buy Android to surf all the web." Nice way to f*ck over their recent partner in Cupertino.

What a stupid move, as well as ineffective. Just add the "m" subdomain, http://m.nypost.com/ Looks dumb on iPad, but whatever.

interesting. i would have thought anyone smart enough to buy and use an iPad wouldn't read the NY Post.
