Politics aside, I think only an uninformed or hideously healthy person would disagree with that. My brother is a probation officer and has also worked in a prison. He has to pay several thousand dollars for an MRI. And that is IF his insurance will approve it. However, whenever he had to transport a prisoner to the hospital they would give them MRI's as a matter of course. Be bitter that the insurance company is being gamed for a lot of no doubt unnecessary MRIs which ultimately we pay for via our insurance rates.
