Amazing location shots, wardrobe and makeup, among other things.

The Sherlock character looks so different than the actor that plays him.

I love how they made it modern.

I have only seen the first episode, so no spoiler, please.

I hear nothing but great things about this series ever since it began but have never caught it. Is it on Netflix? I might stand a chance there.

They have started running it again on PBS, but I missed tonight's episode, which I think, was the second one.

Very quick, clever, dialogue, with a play on old Sherlock character. Do nothing else while watching it, for full experience.

I've always been a big Sherlock Holmes fan, and Sherlock does not disappoint.

This Holmes energy reminds me of the Basil Rathbone version- high energy when the game is afoot, rapid fire dialog, as opposed to this Dr. Watson. And Watson is not the bumbling fool as portrayed by Nigel Bruce.

This a a rare experience- a series re-imagined in a contemporary setting that gives us all the cues of previous Holmes iterations, yet doesn't feel out of place.

There are aspects of the Holmes legend done quite differently as one would expect, but all are well done.

Even if one is not a fan, there is still much to enjoy in this version. It's a three part series, with an additional pilot that didn't air.

This is an outstanding series, and the second one should are in the UK in a few months.

I can't wait!

I saw the first episode and i like.
My favorite is still the jeremy Brett interpretation and i like the old Victorian settings, but this modern take is better than i would have imagined and very enjoyable. My only negative observation of the new series is that Sherlock looks a little too young to me to be the kind of person he is.
But hey, at my age, Methuselah looks like a teenager.

That's how I watched it. Last time I checked, Sherlock was still available.

Excellent series. The second episode was a bit of a letdown but third one is almost as good as the first.

Glad to hear that production is starting in the fall for the second season.

can you really call 3 episodes a "season"?
