Adobe’s latest 5.5.1 release requires an update to the Extensis font auto-activation plug-ins.

We are currently building and testing new plug-ins and product installers for Suitcase Fusion 3 and Universal Type Client 3 to provide full compatibility with Adobe CS5.5.

We plan to release FREE updates to Suitcase Fusion 3 and Universal Type Server 3 in July to address these issues.

Adobe recommends downgrading InDesign CS5.5 to version 7.5.0 as a temporary solution until the new plug-ins are available. For more details, please see the following Extensis Knowledge Base Article.

wonder how you downgrade if you bought CS 5.5 and don't have CS 5?

Luckily I keep getting the complete discs with a new serial number each time from my coroparte media supplier. I just keep the old versions on there until I know it is safe to switch.
