Global warming and sea levels with shoreline map??? - wowzer - 07-11-2011 I'm thinking about buying a home near the shore..but am concerned about rising sea levels. Parts of the California coast are 40' up from the ocean, but in San Francisco one set of cliffs eroded back 20' of bluff due to the sea eroding the base and it falling down and washing out to sea.
