Does anyone have experience with the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card? - Gutenberg - 07-12-2011 It seems very straightforward--tiered rewards, no annual fee. Of course nothing is straightforward in the credit card world, so I thought I would ask if anyone has personal experience. Thanks, Gutie Re: Does anyone have experience with the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card? - JoeH - 07-12-2011 Not direct personal experience, but my son has the Amex Blue card. He has had it for almost 3 years, so far he has been satisfied with it. Amex has been quick to take care of a couple fraudulent transactions charged to his number. Re: Does anyone have experience with the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card? - space-time - 07-12-2011 STF, I posted recently about am AMEX card with 6% back on groceries, 3% back on gas and dept stores, and 1% back on everything else. but it does have a $75 annual fee. Re: Does anyone have experience with the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card? - mattkime - 07-12-2011 I prefer my Fidelity Amex which gives me a flat 2% back on everything. Re: Does anyone have experience with the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card? - 3d - 07-13-2011 Amex Blue stopped the confusing no annual fee, tiered rewards program a few months ago. So unless you got grandfathered in, it's all tier free now. Blue Cash Preferred $75 annual fee 6% cash back at grocery stores 3% cash back at gas stations + department stores 1% cash back on all other purchases Blue Cash Everyday No annual fee 3% cash back at grocery stores 2% cash back at gas stations + department stores 1% cash back on all other purchases PLUS, as with all AMEX cards you get the free roadside assisantce (lmiited but hey it's free) and extended warranties (which I used and posted about to fix my iMac) It's pretty simple. Don't be overly paranoid and overthink it. It's a no brainer. Re: Does anyone have experience with the Amex Blue Cash Everyday card? - Psurfer - 07-13-2011 + the Blue Cash Preferred offers $100 back >charging $500 on it within the 1st 2 months. I plan on getting it. (thanks, space-time) |
