Azul Digital Vinyl 52x CD-R Media - any user reports on quality? - Dennis S - 05-28-2006

They look like 45 rpm records.

They are 13¢ each for 100 with free shipping. TY CD-Rs are 23¢. Believe it or not, a dime makes a difference if I'm burning music or transfering non-essential data.

I'll get some TYs for important stuff, but I wonder how good the cheap ones are.

I bought some a couple of months ago and finally got around to burning my first one yesterday via iTunes. Works fine so far.

been using the classic vinyl look-a-likes for duping desirable parts of the audio collection for in-auto use [OK, so it's a minivan...] without any noticable problems. best part is reactions from people that haven't seen them before, and trying to convince them that the discs are really shrunken records. nice novelty, don't know that I'd rely solely on them for important stuff, which I usually back up at least 2 or 3 times for safekeeping...

i used a whole spindle of Azul non-vinyl CDRs, and they worked great.

Thanks for the information. At $14 for 100, I'll bite.
