Tried everything to unhide a User Library folder in Lion - Failed - Shakes - 09-03-2011
Any suggestions to unhide a user account Library folder? I've tried the program "Lion Tweaks", tried Terminal 2 commands and still it won't show up. Anything else I should try?

In Finder hold down the Option key while clicking on Go in the menu bar, the user Library should be visible. Select it to open it. After that you can drag it into the Finder's Sidebar so it's available in the future if you like.

I tried those commands in the article but it still won't show up. It worked on my other mac though.

Try logging out and logging in again after running chflags nohidden ~/Library in the Terminal.

It may require an Admin & p/w.
Are you signed in as that User with the hidden Library?
Go to Macupdate.com There are all sorts of apps that will reveal hidden files.
EasyFind is one of them. Just search for Library, find the one you want, and "Show in Finder".

I'm using TotalFinder with the "show system files" box checked. TotalFinder is not free, but for all it does ten bucks well spent IMHO.
