I had one of these and I took it back. I took it back so fast I can't even quite remember what I didn't like about it other than "it sucked". Sorry I can't give a better review but I'd do some googling before anyone thinks of purchasing this to see what others say. Then again, if you need something just to get sound out of your TV $55 is a really sweet deal.

We have a Vizio soundbar that has a wireless subwoofer, for $198 I think it sounds pretty good,
without the subwoofer I don't think it's going to do to well.

I think that was exactly my problem. I saw the system you're describing at Sam's club for about $200 and thought it sounded good. I already have a subwoofer I use though which already make my tv sound pretty good with just the built in speakers. Found the bar only at Meijer for about $100 to try it out and realized the new sound bar didn't work too well with my set up and I was just as well off without the sound bar.
Again though, YMMV and thanks to the OP for this sweet deal.

Yeah, I went with the same type of setup except I got a Samsung to match my Plasma screen. I absolutely love the wireless subwoofer. It makes me crave for wireless everything!!

The Sony HT-CT150 soundbar can be used as an HDMI switcher if you're short on ports (3 HDMI ports in)

Last I checked it was around $200. Nice sound and bass. I boost up the center channel so i can finally hear the dialogue in movies. There's a slight pause of a few seconds when switching HDMI sources. That's the only negative i can think of.

I have the Vizio with the subwoofer and must agree: it sucks without the subwoofer. Unless you buy the wireless subwoofer, you're throwing your money away.
Strange, but maybe they changed the specs when they produced it w/o the sub.
