Will I be shopping at GAP for replacement shirts? Re: stain remover - Pam - 09-12-2011 You should use something like Shout or Oxy clean on those areas every time you do laundry. Instead of acting like a precipitating agent, they act like a chelating agent. This means that the calcium and magnesium cations are bound up but stay in solution so that your detergent becomes more affective. Since theses cations don't precipitate out, they are easily rinsed away, and don't deposit themselves in your clothing or the parts of your washing machine. I will apply to the collar during periodic washings (not every time I wash). Re: stain remover - Dennis S - 09-12-2011 Shout got the Consumer Report #1 for Point & Shoot stain removers. Re: stain remover - kap - 09-12-2011 SHOUT! it will be then. Thanks everyone! Re: stain remover - kj4btkljv - 09-13-2011 Can Shout! also get out the grease spots left behind after kids wipe their hands on their clothes, rather than a napkin? Jeff |
