"The Chief Security Officer of The Walt Disney Company has received a direction from Bob Iger to lower both US and Disney flags to half-staff October 6-12, 2011, in observance of the passing of Steven Paul Jobs. In addition to co-founding Apple, Steve Jobs co-founded and was the CEO of Pixar Animation Studios. Steve's connection to Disney continued as Pixar merged with The Walt Disney Company in 2006.
