Recommend a small countertop microwave oven? - miK. - 12-06-2011 The microwave oven I've had for like 12 years died last night. Shopped online and looked at a few today. Because of space requirements, it can't really be much longer than 18-19". It seems the small microwaves are pieces of junk... even the Kenmore and GE models at Sears got bad reviews. The other stuff is all made in China (Magic Chef, Avanti etc.) and not my cup of tea. Anyone know of something that fits the bill here? Thanks! Re: Recommend a small countertop microwave oven? - Filliam H. Muffman - 12-06-2011 I keep waiting my 27 year old microwave to die because I want one of the 1.6+ cuft. 1300 W Panasonic inverter ovens. They get marginal reviews for customer service and displays though. Re: Recommend a small countertop microwave oven? - Buzz - 12-06-2011 get whatever model fits at Costco. == /// Re: Recommend a small countertop microwave oven? - Black - 12-06-2011 miK. wrote: Are you sure all of them aren't made in China? Buy one with the idea that you'll throw it away.
