iOS 5.1 and QuasiDisk - David S - 03-08-2012
Anyone here using QuasiDisk? It was an innocent file viewer app with a secret tethering function hidden inside. It lived in the App store for a few hours until Apple figured it out.
Anyway, I wonder if iOS 5.1 breaks QuasiDisk. I'm reluctant to upgrade.
Anyone know?

It appears that iOS 5.1 breaks it. Keep getting a "no wifi network" error

Heya - whaddayknow - I fixed it. It IS WORKING now. On the iPhone settings for my ad-hoc network - I needed to select "Auto" for HTTP proxy (down below "renew lease") - Not sure if they just changed the default for this setting - or I somehow fat-fingered it... but anyway, there it is. up and running. Go ahead and upgrade.
