...are iPad only, yes?
And non-HD apps that iTunes categorizes as iPad apps are iPad only, yes?
For the time being, I'm syncing my 'Phone on one iMac and my 'Pads on another. The 'Phone's iMac has a bunch of HD apps thanks to the auto-downloading of Leopard (since turned off).
I want to toss the HD/iPad apps and give my 'Phone's iMac a little more space.

As far as I know HD apps are iPad only. Then there are what I call Hybrid apps that are for both the iPhone and the
iPad. Hybrid apps don't have to be 2x'ed, so to speak to fill up the screen on the iPad. Not sure if this answers your
question or not.

No. Many "HD" apps are enhanced solely for the display on the iPhone 4S.
