You bought one? I don't blame you-- that's one hot piece of technology.
I get that same funny little feeling looking at this picture as I used to get upon seeing exposed drivers in stereo stores way back when.

SSD is better choice, however weak you may be...

Yeah, it should be here Wednesday.
For the time being, it'll be my external boot drive for my mini, and the 120G Extreme will be the external boot drive for my G5 iMac.
I was tempted to hold off until the price dropped some more, then I said WTF (sometimes you just gotta say "WTF!") I'll get two now.
THEN the Good Geek on my shoulder said "Slow down, Woz Wannabe! That second SSD will be even cheaper by the time you have a good use for it. Get one now, put it in its traces, and by the time the shines starts to fade the slightest bit, a second one will be cheaper".
And I've fallen into that trap more than once. Some ne'er do well posts a link to a great deal, and even though I have no immediate use for it. I buy in, knowing that I will use it eventually, only to find a link posted by another ne'er do well showing a new improved version, cheaper than what I paid for my dust gatherer.
This move will not make up for all those times, but it's a step in my rehabilitation.

So you've still not experienced SSD booting on any of your macs?
Once you have you won't regret a penny of the early adopter tax.

If it were me I'd just plug it into the harness and say screw the mounting kit.
