I worked in a record store when that song came out- I remember a manager I had commenting on what utter crap it was-- I still see her face every single time I hear it. That said I really like it . . . Bowie and Freddy never ever performed it together in the same space?
Several great post-Freddie versions kicking around youtube, including Annie Lenox, and Bowie's Basist Gail Ann Dorsey on the Freddie part.
