My Olympics TV Report - Psurfer - 07-27-2012

I just finished a desparate hour going through most all the 300 TV channels I have (U-verse) in hopes of anything resembling the Olympics. Here's the synopsis of my Olympic Viewing Experience. Warning, Spoiler ahead :patriot:

MSNBC had news talking heads debating Romney's Britain visit of uncouth Olympics-dissing.
CNBC had MadMoney man Cramer spitting out stock predictions at a breakneck Olympian pace of sprinting syllables.

The winner at the finish?
A very timely episode of the Brit sit-com, "Absolutely Fabulous" entitled, "Olympics"! (who knew this show was still on after like 20yrs?) The end was very funny. The ever-embibing gal-pals go to some sort of reception next to the Olympic stadium, the designer Stella McCartney shows up; the girls are ecstatic-
"Patsy knows your father!"
-"Well, I did him once, in a backseat somewhere... I don't know, it was One of the Beatles, it might have been Yoko Ono..."
The sloshed girls are then asked to leave, and they manage to stumble into the still-empty stadium. They both daydream/hallucinate of Olympic glory, receiving medals on the podium, then Patsy lights a cig on the Olympic torch.

It was a one-off Olympic special, unfortunately.
My wife and I watched it last night. Fun.
