Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - p8712 - 07-31-2012 Yikes! All the businesses are in the dressage horse's name? Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - mick e - 07-31-2012 At this point, mick e has decided. Romney is a DIVE candidate. A fixer. Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - Avenger - 07-31-2012 "He didn't pay taxes for 10 years! Now, do I know that that's true? Well, I'm not certain," said Reid. Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - john dough - 07-31-2012 Put out the records, all of them, and be done with it. Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - swampy - 07-31-2012 Romney is too smart and has too many smart people running his financial affairs to give this story any credibility. Some bodys that knows somebody that was with Baine Capital heard that somebody said the Romney might not have paid any taxes for something like ten years. The problem seems to be that the Obama campaign just can't sig up any dirt on the 2 years and thousand of financial documents that Romney has released. When is Obama going to release hos college transcripts? It's called vetting. Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - Lemon Drop - 07-31-2012 Romney's only released one year so far, and it is missing some key documents regarding his foreign accounts. So far no explanation on that. Reid's statements, eh. Kind of silly actually. What's the deal with the horse? Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - Ted King - 07-31-2012 Lemon Drop wrote: Yeah, unless he has some really good reason to think the information is very likely to be correct, Reid is just playing games. Re: Maybe he didn't pay taxes for the last ten years? - davester - 07-31-2012 I think Reid is just trying to start some rumors to increase public pressure on Romney to release his returns. All he's really released is one incomplete return, which is missing the key piece of information that people are interested in, so in essence he has released nothing. Does he really think he's going to get away with stonewalling the american public like this? Releasing several years worth of income tax returns is simply par for the course if you're a presidential candidate. He wouldn't be stonewalling if he wasn't hiding something, so you might as well accuse him of something radical (like not paying taxes at all) so that he has the obligation to prove otherwise. |
