Anybody here fly model airplanes? - Bimwad - 09-06-2012

I'm trying to ascertain what some vintage engines are worth, and hopefully, sell them to people who will appreicate them.

I've done this successfully in the past with other things by finding a forum or other enthusiast hangout, rather than wading into the eBay or CL cesspools, so I'm hoping to find "a," or "the"place for this particular group as well.

This year I have sold 12 vintage engines on eBay. Some I had for 65 years. eBay will be best.

As Go To Top what they're worth. Sounds like the resident expert to me.

Thanks.

I have a Dooling 29, a Fox 35, and a Johnson 35. There's also a smaller one of unknown ID. These were basement finds, so I have no idea what they might be worth, or worth selling.

You can check prices sold for on eBay dammit.

I sold a Dooling 65 with a rough McCoy car for about $800 over three years ago. Some of my stuff went overseas.
