Really want O to win NC and/or VA - Lemon Drop - 10-22-2012
He can win re-election without them.
But I'd like to see him win these states in particular. Something about breaking that red firewall that is the South. (not counting Florida as the south, it's something unto itself.)
North Carolina was a squeaker last time and polls predicting McCain victory were obviously wrong. Romney has a plus 2 right now in NC and VA is in a tie. Plenty of room for a shift. Obama campaign going full blast in both NC and VA right now. No conceding going on.

NC, in my opinion, not going to happen.

Oh, and it's looking good for Obama for Ohio. +1.9% according to RCP.

I doubt it. I'm sure the republicans have redoubled their efforts to purge the voter rolls of typical democrat voters after the embarrassment of 2008.
