Ever. Or, replace one. Just stuff the empty space with paper bags and call it a day.

And don't call her lazy.

Installing a lazy suzan in an existing cabinet is insane.
Install before or don't even bother unless you can take the cabinet out.

Hmmmm...maybe what Carm said. I installed new cabinets last year and have both an upper and lower lazy susan. Easy to install and extremely valuable IMHO. Love them and use every day.

The only issue with the damn things is that something *always* falls off and jams the damn thing. Usually requiring a complete removal of all stuff from the gizmo. And usually it's some mangy kid's fault for spinning the damn thing too fast !

Aside from this very real issue, they are a brilliant way to resolve overly deep cabinets and shorter arms. The only better solution would be sliding out basket thingmajigs.

I get the spinning circles in 3 packs for $2, and use those.

This is basically what the bottom looks like - spins on 5 or 6 ball bearings.

Comes apart in three pieces for cleaning; snaps together in 2 seconds

Get this type...

Not as much capacity, but easier to reach everything and it makes partial use of the corner.

Never had a problem with a lazy susan that couldn't be fixed by carefully adjusting what was loaded where.

They're better for things like storing lightweight items like tupperware. Not so good for heavy cans and jars (if something does fall off and jam it.)
