Wow... Air ambulance pilot sends many texts to girlfriend during flight, runs out of fuel and crashes, killing himself, patient, nurse, and EMT.

Yeah, I read about that. What really struck me was that he knew he was low on fuel and went ahead anyway. Bad enough he killed himself but he took a bunch of innocent folks down with him, in clear weather.

He obviously wasn't very proficient in his autorotation skills.
