To Russia, with love - Lemon Drop - 07-12-2013

Snowden asks Russia for asylym, says he'll meet their terms and stop disclosing information.
No word if Russia will accept him or not. Personally I wouldn't want to be Putin's pawn. We'll see what happens.

What an outcome - it didn't look as though he could fly anywhere out of there without crossing airspace of a country that will stop him and send him back to the US.

The constant eloquent proclamations coming out of this young man's mouth appear to be most certainly placed there by the "WIkiLeaks" organization. Which he appears to have contacted in his quest for whistleblower status, and appears to have orchestrated this whole disaster.

A pity that he was so ill served by them. Leaking this to a senior US Senator on the Democratic Party side would have probably had the same effect, but allowed him to be protected in this country.

I doubt any senator would have protected him, including Rand Paul. They'd be charged with aiding and abetting or something like that.

Lemon-
Oh, I don't know... It would have made for an awesome October Surprise...

I'll wager that no senator in the chamber was genuinely surprised that all this NSA stuff was going on.

Bingo we have a winner ~!~
There is also a remote possibility Snowden is not going to get much love
where ever he goes.
