Re: [cars] leather cracking prevention - particleman - 08-16-2013 I use Lexol Cleaner and Conditioner http://www.lexol.com/Category_leather.aspx So far so good with my '02 Beetle's leather seats. Re: [cars] leather cracking prevention - deckeda - 08-16-2013 1) Pay to have the best window tint installed that blocks UV (most don't) and has higher heat-rejection (most don't, even if they appear to be "limo black.") 2) Do the Lexol dance early and often, not after the car's 5 years old and the leather's already getting dry. 3) Related to #1 above, if and where you can garage the car, do so. Re: [cars] leather cracking prevention - davester - 08-16-2013 Leatherique is the best leather rejuvenator and preservative. You'll need both of their products...rejuvenator oil and prestine clean leather cleaner to do a proper job. That and keep the interior cool and out of the sun. A car cover does wonders, those windscreen and window shades help some. Re: [cars] leather cracking prevention - Ombligo - 08-16-2013 Lexol.
