Sony ES model. Weighs a TON.
I realize there have been some "getting rid of stuff" threads of late, and I'm of the same mind. but, when it comes to good audio, and bargains.. it's tough to be Zen!

it was made in 1989 according to the manufacture sticker on the back plate.

That faceplate and design is identical to the one I got in 1986, except no faux wood - all black. Awful sound quality - treble is quite harsh.

Circa 1986 sounds about right for this.
