and they made spam posts go poof in just a few minutes. (or less)

I think it only takes three normal members to "Report" a post for it to go "poof" until a mod gets to look at it. That still works, and could have also been what you were seeing in your past memories.

Based upon what I see as the norm in this country, I don't want to be lumped in with that group if they are considered normal.
