Went to the Cult last night - pinkoos - 08-31-2013
Part of their Electric 13 tour where they play their 1987 album Electric all the way through and then the 2nd half of the show is dedicated to other hits and some deep cuts.
Was a great show at the House of Blues in Houston. Small venue, great sound and mix.
Billy Duffy was on fire.

I saw them open for Metallica in 1989.
the crowd was not into them.

I worked security when that tour came through Atlanta in 1989 (brand new Coca-Cola Lakewood Amphitheater). Metallica actually opened for The Cult at that show. We collected lots of bottles and knives at the entrance that night.

I saw them in 86 at the Sunken Gardens Amphitheater in San Antonio, opening act : Guns and Roses.
One of the best shows of my life!
