Keyboard problems - rouderon - 07-25-2006 For some reason, the keyboard on my g5 iMac is acting strange. The ‘caps lock’ is tied with the ‘a’ key and the ‘tab’ is tied with the ‘q.’ Here’s what it looks like when I type the ‘a’ key: AaAaAaAa; ‘caps lock’: AaAAAaAa; ‘tab’: q q q q; and ‘q’: q q q q Is the keyboard fried. Nothing spilled on it that I know of. Restarted the iMac, repaired Disk Permissions, and ran fsck -fy. Re: Keyboard problems - IronMac - 07-26-2006 Try another keyboard. |
