We are looking for a shower head which has a turn on and off switch so that water will not be wasted during a lathering up Smile TiA

in the event you cannot find a shower head that does this, get a shut off valve & use your existing shower head: http://www.showerbuddy.com/Showroom/_Shower_Head/Shower_Hose_Showerhead_Accesso/shower_hose_showerhead_accesso.html

Look at the "E" one on that page.

H is another very common option, and you can push the button back and forth one handed with your eyes closed, or full of soap. it is only 98% closed, but that is still essentially "off" for your purposes.

While you're at it, there's an item somewhere on the web similar to the Shower Buddy that works like a Water-Pik.

Re: Recommendation: Shower Head - iaJim - 07-26-2006

I have an Alson hand held shower that has an on/off button. Here's their web page:

Something to be aware of, on our water system, is that when you turn it back on, you get a blast of really hot water before it equalizes. Good to know if bathing a pet or a baby.
