I'm feeling all Mavericky; Post Your Apple Shopping List Here - sekker - 10-06-2013

I'm not hunting for new Macs, 10.9 update that's really adding new features is likely good enough for me.

My son wants an iPad mini retina himself.

Just an SSD and my first fresh install since Panther for my five-year-old iMac.

Still running 10.6, but ready to move forward. I can virtualize what I need. Waiting for a new MacBook!

There is no question Apple sees the 12 hour MBA as the successor to the MacBook. So you may be out of luck if you are holding our for a new 'Macbook'.

I have a late 2009 iMac at home, an iPhone 5, and a MacBook air at work. I might buy an iPad sometime this next year but I'm avoiding it even though work will cover some of the cost.

I'd like to see a quad core MBA...I'd like to see an iMac 4x faster than mine. I'd like to see apple destroy the cable companies.

I'm unlikely to buy but could be tempted.

A new Mac mini.

Either an MBA or MBP, but with Retina. That puts a hold on thing until there's an MBAr. Which may not happen, at least any time soon.

A 21.5" iMac for the bedroom.

Not that it has mattered much in the past, I'm hoping that Haswell Equipped 00 means even slightly lower operating temperatures.

And since *all* my gear is C2D, I deserve some Upgrade Love.

I'm hoping to love Mavericks. But I will still need and mainly use 10.6. Other than that, I'm all set for hardware for the next several years.

Has Apple posted the requirements for Maverick?? Is 10.8/Mountain Lion required?

Not sure about software specs, but the hardware requirements are the same as 10.8.

BTW - interesting spread, basically half are looking to buy, the other half are pretty much split evenly.
