PS: The real "Saint Nicolas" of 4th century Greece has never been verified as an historical figure and we certainly don't have photos of him. And depictions of him bear little resemblance to the jolly guy in the suit at the mall. And Jesus...I'm not even going there.

I found it ironic that the commercial before the clip was a black & white video of a African/American family making rice krispy treats out of a spot colored box....
oh and Megyn Kelly is entitled to her opinion, even if it is racist idiocy.

I'm ashamed to relate this but I recall as a child (long, long, ago) going to a party where there was two Santa's - one white and one black. I was told the black one was from the South Pole.

Santa is primarily Icelandic, Siberian and Turkish by way of the Dutch with a little touch of good old 20th century American Coca Cola advertising. I'd give her that one. He might be tan, but he's not black. That's Zwarte Piet or the Krampus. Easy mistake to make.
Jesus, if he existed, was probably a little semitic guy. Otherwise, I'd expect there to be a few passages in the bible mentioning how weird he looked and how easily he got sunburn.

I know about the Turk Saint Nick and his Dutch version, which is what we adopted in the US, and the Russian Babushka (can't spell it though) and Kris Kringle and Pere Noel, but what are the Icelandic and Siberian versions?
