Making club name badges from Contacts data? - JEBB - 01-31-2014

I have the names of our club members in my Contacts file. Is there an easy way to create, print, club name badges with only the individuals name and email address and a date field I've added (membership expiration date)? Thanks.

What word processing software do you have?
There should be something in most that will print labels. Check out Avery for the number of the labels, if that is what you are going to use.
I have done similar things, with AppleWorks, back in the day. Surely Word or something in Open Office would do it.

There are ways, but they aren't easy. You could export selected contacts to PDF; that will contain all the data fields for any given person and would merge them into one file. If you want to customize fields and have them one-up in a layout, you could do a data merge, using AppleScript.

Badges? We ain't got no badges. We don't need no badges! I don't have to show you any stinkin' badges!

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. :-)
