CEO Collects $142 Million Pay - DeusxMac - 04-30-2014

"...one of the richest pay-packages in America last year—even though it has yet to make an annual profit or reach its goal of exporting U.S. natural gas."

"Mr. Souki's payday "would dwarf anyone I'm familiar with in the Fortune 50," said Alan Johnson, managing director at New York-based compensation consultant Johnson Associates. "Is he worth more than all the senior executives at Exxon put together?""

Skip the paywall, and here is a Forbes Wonk's opinion.

Sounds more like 'entrepreneurship' rather than the concept of CEO of an Evil Global Conglomerate.

Tax at 91% and I'm fine with it.

Re: CEO Collects $142 Million Pay - Acer - 05-01-2014

Back of the napkin math:

$142 million represents a $3 raise an hour raise for 22,756 full-time employees for a full year. That $3 multiplies to $6,240 annually.

Invested at 8% return in the market, that same $142 million yields interest equivalent to $500 per each one of those 22,756 employees.

Which use has a greater net positive effect on the economy?

TWO economic geniasses!

There was another one in US government couple decades ago who was actually expecting increase in revenue at 100%.

You two must be disciples of the same "skool of ekonomiks"....

Eisenhower was not the idiot advocating 100% taxation.
Dont try to hide your stupidity behind somebody else who has nothing to do with economics or the tax system of today, if you do not have the guts or probity to stand behind your own argument.....

So rather than argue my point I should just insult anyone who disagrees with me? Teabagger logic!
