A playlist, please. - RAMd®d - 05-15-2014

I was listening to iTunes and two songs came up, back to back- Happy by Pharrell Williams, and Lovely Day by Bill Withers.

It was a nice combo, and I'd like to have a playlist of light. cheery, upbeat, up tempo songs. They don't have to be Grammy-worthy, or have deep meaning with social relevance or redeeming value.

Danciable would be a plus. It would help the housework.

This is not about needing cheering up, but about just being happy and underlining it with like music.

So... Anything?

Strawberry Letter 23
(but it's a bit of an uptempo downbeat song... Smile)

Someone posted a similar question to Reddit yesterday and got some good responses. Later tonight when I am at home I will pull the link up from my history and post it here.

In the meantime, permit me to suggest ELO's "Mr. Blue Sky."

"Come On Eileen" - your choice - either Dexy's Midnight Runners' original or Save Ferris' remake.

Always thought Norman Greenbaum's Spirit In The Sky was uplifting.
