to a friend. Need to nuke and pave.
I don't recall the option in the ML install process to do that.
Don't seem to recall seeing it when I installed Mavs on the new one.
Just an OS update.
When does it occur or where?

boot holding the option key or command-r (recovery partition). reinstall the os and wipe the drive that way

can't view it in Target and got tired of waiting for MA to wake up.
