Yeah, they (y'know; "they") weren't kidding when they said Winter is Coming. It's a long winter for Mac users.
What I love is when an analyst shows up and says "sales of [Macintosh model] are flat" and cite that "the glory days are over". I guess they are flat, when there's nothing new to buy.
Again, cash in hand, I've been waiting for a new Thunderbolt Display for nearly a year. The current model (again, sporting USB2 and TB1) is now 991 days old.
I'm not in the market for one, but the Mac mini is now 587 days old.
I'm starting to think maybe those "do you hear the bell tolling" guys have a point.

I'm happy with my mini.
I would have liked to see new iron here, but it's not that surprising that there wasn't any.
There will be new iPads with Touch ID soon.
I don't know that Yosemite and 8 will need new iron to run well, but I think well see something before the year's end, probably when the OSs are released.
For the time being, new OSs will make me happy.

I still have money I want to spend, so at least a new MBA or MBPr for Yosemite will be heading my way in the fall.
