At that price, maybe good for kids or people who lose or abuse cameras often. Buy two so you can replace the one you ruin? Confusedmiley-laughing001:

Wow. Too bad it's not waterproof.

I have four decent point and shoots sitting in drawers at home. I should give them away to a good home.

The three iPhone 5Ses have made them all obsolete for my family.

I hate all these cameras with no viewfinders. I find it incredibly awkward to hold a camera (or now, an iPhone) out at arm's length to frame a shot. But it seems as though the whole industry is going in that direction. And when they do include a viewfinder, it's electronic, not optical. Yech. (td)

An electronic viewfinder seems preferable to an optical one for a p&s camera. An optical viewfinder can only be optimized for the short end of a zoom. At longer focal lengths, they would need to have smaller and smaller frame lines inside the viewfinder, which would be very hard to use.

True, though my Canon PowerShot A540 had an optical view finder and no real problems with zoom. But it was only 4x optical zoom. Great little camera, until it developed exposure problems. I replaced it with an SLR (Rebel 2Ti) and a Tamron 18-270 lens, but I miss the portability and flexibility of the little P&S. Of course the images with the Rebel are better, but I doubtless miss some by not carrying the heavy SLR as often as I should.
