F and D grade - kap - 01-06-2006

Locally we are awarded an F for living standard and statewide, a D for school quality! Anyone wants to move to CA? Hehehehe ...

I left the south bay section of SO CAL after living there for 49 years. No regrets. Life was getting too crowded, too hectic & with too many rude people. Not to mention the fact that it could take over 2 1/2 hours or more to get out of the LA Basin.

As long as the places I eat get an A...

maco,
Where are you calling home now?

Rob,
I wouldn't rely on the letter too much less it's turned by Vanna ;-)

I go to the board of health website and read the reviews, including the past ones.

It's amazing how bad a place can be and get a "B"

Yeah I'm sure they aren't 100% legit but it's still better than guessing!

Rob,
I know some food dishes are heavy but please keep your eyes open Wink

maco,
Ah, Denver. I attended bicycling event in CO many years ago. It's a beautiful state. It's great place for the athletic inclined minds. Yes, I did get "Welcome to Denven. Now go back!" from a friend Wink

Yes, I did

So far, people have been very nice to me, even those who know I'm from California. I can see why people don't like some of the people from California. The funky "laid back" beach community that I grew up in, is starting to be taken over by arrogant people with attitude. This is why I was glad to move.

I love Colorado. It is great to be able to get up late in the morning, go climb a 14,000 ft. mountain & be back in time for dinner.

I could do that EASILY, provided that I lived at el. 13,900 ft.
