The owner who dumped his Buggati Veyron into the drink because he was distracted by a pelican has pleaded guilty to wire fraud.
He confessed that after he bought the car for $1million and took out collectors insurance for $2million, he intentionally dunked the car and left the engine running to ensure it was trashed.
The video taken proved the pelican was innocent and said to the cornerstone of the conviction.

8 year old used one. He insured it for replacement value, which is 3M for a new one.

He could get 20 years. One year for wire fraud, 19 years for dunking his Bugatti.
