Fargo: Season 1 (No Spoilers) - freeradical - 09-03-2014 This releases in Oct on Netflix. Is this a one season show? Re: Fargo: Season 1 (No Spoilers) - raz - 09-03-2014 There is talk of a second season - though it's supposed to take place 20 years earlier. Only Robert Carradine's character is supposed to cross over (with a younger actor). Re: Fargo: Season 1 (No Spoilers) - fmgtech - 09-03-2014 Yes just one season. I watched the original and liked it a lot. Wish there was more. Same name, (mostly?) new cast, and in the case of Fargo, same "universe". The second season will feature the telling of a story from their past that was spoken of during the frist series. I. Can't. Wait. Re: Fargo: Season 1 (No Spoilers) - fmgtech - 09-03-2014 Also with reference to Breaking Bad there is a series coming in February named Better Call Saul which supposedly takes place 5 years before BB. Re: Fargo: Season 1 (No Spoilers) - datbeme - 09-04-2014 I enjoyed it, but yes it was a one and done. This is good because it kept it strong; it wouldn't have worked for more than a season. Re: Fargo: Season 1 (No Spoilers) - RAMd®d - 09-04-2014 It was categorized as a mini-series at the Emmys. Apparently mini-series has become a scarce phrase, maybe because some of these aren't so mini. And it looks to me like the networks don't want you to know if a program is a one-season series. Maybe they're afraid you won't want to invest your time. |
