iTunes internet radio - mlfrank - 09-04-2014

I like a very diverse range of music - bluegrass, classical, country, jazz, blues, rock, latin, bollywood, folk - most anything that had good rhythm even if I can't understand the language.

I-Tunes internet radio has a very wide range of stations. The big drawback is keeping track of the real good ones I find to make switching back & forth easier. Yes, I could keep track with paper & pencil, but I am hoping that some one out there has an app that will keep a list of my favorites. I've tried Radium - just would rather have something that works more closely with iTunes.

Any suggestions?

any internet radio on iTunes can probably be found on either the apps TuneIn or iHeartRadio. i use TuneIn and I have a favorites list. easypeasy.

TuneIn is quite good.

I added a few stations to the side bar in iTunes

EDIT: in fact they are in a playlist, exactly like the post below.

I have made a playlist called Radio and as I find a good internet radio station on iTunes, I drag it to this playlist. It is easy to change stations by double clicking from this playlist. You can label the genre to make sorting easier.

I dont use iTunes radio, but I assume it has the same features as Pandora.

Pandora saves every station you create. You can create a station from anything -- a particular artist, song or genre.

You can even combine any of these -- So like here, I added Led Zep Radio -- then added other artists to it. Now it plays everything from those artists and their friends

I would assume iTunes can do the same.

drag the stations from the main menu into the sidebar and then you can rename them anything you like, including a code for genre

I don't like the new iTunes Radio. It used to be good a few years ago. Actually, I've never liked much about iTunes.

Re: iTunes internet radio - space-time - 09-05-2014

this is not about iTunes radio. it is about streaming radio stations, a feature that was there since early version of iTunes.

Are you sure?

Guy -- iTunes Radio is a newer feature of iTunes. Not years old.
