Solar LED Flood Lights $25/ea - ztirffritz - 09-05-2014

Todays deal of the day at Yugster.com is a solar powered flood light for $25. Anyone have any experience with these? I have an area in front of my driveway where I'd like to try these. Just wondering if it is worth the $25 risk.

not very bright, so kinda depends on how much light you want/need... not gonna scare any would be thieves, or blind your neighbors, but might illuminate a small portion on the driveway or sidewalk so that people don't trip over the one crack that the light shines on. YMMV

I think I'll pass. I may need to actually pull a conduit and mount a proper light.

I bought something similar several years ago to provide light for the kids in the pool at night. It works okay... definitely not a 'spotlight' in the classic Aircraft Landing Light style. Amazon has another product that gets better reviews.
