I noticed that as well. A quiet drop, it seems. I may have to look for fire sales on new ones, like from Target, I still prefer the Classic for use in the car, the scroll wheel is much more efficient.
I'm a bit surprised that the refurb store doesn't have the Classic listed. Maybe they will once Apple gets the unsold ones back from the stores.
