Some forum I read speculates it is a private label but the same thing as ON Gold Standard. ONGS goes for $111 for 10lb. Make sure to sign up for the 10% off coupon. I had to get a hold of a customer rep to adjust my order after my coupon didn't show up. It is buy one, get one half off. You can buy more than one set. Re: Another whey deal: 10lb for $75-10%=$67.50 shipped - hal - 09-10-2014 I had a bio prof that insisted that whey - long considered a useless by product, would one day make someone rich if they could just turn into something palatable. I guess it never occurred to him that one day, people would eat it anyway. Two things: - pdq - 09-10-2014 First, my food scientist friend told me off-handedly a few years ago that cheese has now become basically kind of an afterthought by-product, of when they make whey protein (the main product) out of milk. Secondly, and just tangentially related at best, was cricket flour. The guy on the radio today was talking about it, and how it's a good source of animal protein. I'd rather stick with whey, I think. Re: Another whey deal: 10lb for $75-10%=$67.50 shipped - pRICE cUBE - 09-10-2014 I believe whey is a nice protein supplement for post workout muscle recovery. A balanced diet is still recommended. |
