One SIM. Many options. - space-time - 10-16-2014 interesting, I thought a SIM is associated with one carrier but I see Apple found a way to allow one SIM to work on different carriers. and why is Verizon not listed on that screenshot? http://www.apple.com/ipad-air-2/wireless/ Re: One SIM. Even odder, if you click on the supported LTE bands link, Verizon is listed there. Participating U.S. and UK carriers: 3 AT&T Sprint T-Mobile EE Also says: 3. Participating carriers are subject to change. Re: One SIM. Many options. - sekker - 10-17-2014 Very cool tech. Re: One SIM. Many options. - N-OS X-tasy! - 10-17-2014 One SIM to rule them all. Way cheaper than international carrier fees. Re: One SIM. Many options. - rgG - 10-17-2014 C(-)ris wrote: You would think they would have learned from the first time they turned down Apple. I think they will be on board with it, because on their website they have a banner ad announcing that the iPad Air 2 will be available soon, and I don't think they will be selling the WiFi version. Any benefit to a programmable SIM. |
