Re: Yosemite Installed.... 2011 MBP and 2011 Mini - sydric - 10-17-2014 Do you have iWork '09? If so, could you check how functional it is? Thanks. Didn't use it extensively, however, because I decided to finaly jump to the new versions. I'm not a fan of the new ui layout but I'm sure I'll get used to it. I think it was truly asinine for Apple to not only change file formats, which is bad enough in itself, but then *not* change the extension so there is no way to tell a .numbers '09 from a .numbers new, and the latter will not work with the '09 sofware. Gah. Re: Yosemite Installed.... 2011 MBP and 2011 Mini - sydric - 10-18-2014 robfilms: You are correct. There is a newer version of Keynote, Numbers, & Pages that will work with Yosemite but iWork '09 is far more feature rich than the newer dumbed down version. Many of my iWork '09 Keynote presentations will not convert to the newer version of Keynote. I am fully dependent on iWork '09 and as a result will not be able to update to Yosemite if it won't work flawlessly. |
